Gordon Junior Rugby will be competing in the NSW Rugby Union State 7’s Championship this September and October in Forster, NSW and we would welcome as many of our players to trial for these representative squads.
Gordon will select a Squad of 12 + 1 reserve for each of the following age groups:
U13, U15’s, U17’s – Both Boys & Girls.
The selection trials will be held on Sunday 13th August and Sunday 20th August from 3pm for all three age groups at Hassall Park, St Ives. Definite times TBC.
Independent Selectors will be selecting players, with the teams also being overseen by the Gordon Junior coaches.
Following selection, each team will enter a 4/5 week training program to prepare our players for the competition.
Prerequisite for selection
- Open to Players registered with a Gordon Junior District Club for the 2023 season
- Players need to register within their respective age group.
- MUST be able to trial on both of the above dates.
- MUST be available to play as follows:
U13 (born 2011 & 2010)
Saturday 23rd September
Sunday 24th September
Monday 25th September in Forster, NSW
U15 (born 2009 & 2008)
Friday 6th October
Saturday 7th October
Sunday 8th October n Forster, NSW
U17 (born 2007 & 2006)
Friday 6th October
Saturday 7th October
Sunday 8th October in Forster, NSW
- There will be a cost payable per player which includes, playing kit, training program, team photo & patch.
Information will be sent via email until Teams have been selected.
Once Teams have been selected, What’s App will be the preferred method of communication for Teams.
